Yeah! Tama kayung lahat. It doesn't matter if your character had the most hero kills... if your faction lost... then that means YOU lost.
Besides, number of hero kills isn't exactly how you measure a player's skill. Some characters are for instance more adept at hero killing (Morty, Clinkz, Cardy, Riki, Drow). Others are more adept at disabling others (Silencer, Nerubian Assassin, Rhasta). Others are good at softening targets and clearing areas with massive AOE's or nukes(Crystal, Luna, Sandy, Lina, Lich, Tormented Soul, Venomancer). Others are natural farmers (Medusa, Luna, Death Prophet). Others destroy towers in a few seconds (Keeper of The Light, Furion, Slithice, Azwraith, Lightning Rev, Warlock, Stalker (come nightime)). Others can tank oh so heavy amounts of damage without dying (Treant, Purist, Abaddon, Sven(d**n Godstrength), Centaur).... and the list goes on...
Well.. their's still the fact that you can make a different build for your character right?

It doesn't matter if your character had the most hero kills... if your faction lost... then that means YOU lost Why of course... we play cuz we want to have fun... nobody said otherwise... What I'm trying to say is that making the most hero kills doesn't exactly matter the most cuz some characters can't do that. It's like asking a doctor to pull the trigger...  Of course we want to have fun while playing... who doesn't? Or play while having fun... again who doesn't? But wouldn't it be better if you play with the spirit of team work. See, pushing together is more fun than soloing out a hero that you know you can kill guaranteed. Besides, in game terms, if a faction loses, it definitely loses. No saying "At least ako may nakumpletong item build" or "At least ako may napatay".  I've actually once played with this Treant Protector player who... ahem ahem... likes to steal kills. I was like "Dem what is wrong with this guy why did he pick treant if he wants to kill". See he would have been the defense barrier we needed had he stayed in the base while we were being raxed. The dumb balete tree user was at mid lane on his toes with our team's Lich timing his ultimate to get the kill after the chain frost instead of pulling it off before lich's ultimate. All the while... my poor not so high in HP Slithice had to handle the creep rushes with images which simply weren't enough. SHe ended up having to lead all the creeps to the fountain just to kill them. Pathetic right? If one player starts to act dumbly, all rest follows: the teams acts dumbly too. Instead of pushing straight to the enemy base (which Naga Siren is really good at), she had to stay in the base to defend it (which she really is horrible at).  ;D Phew that was a loooonng post... my oh my... Thankfully we still won because all the other player at that pub were noobs. Hehehehe... I should have saved a replay to show you how dumb the treant player was. Hehehehe  PLaying as valiantly as you can really payes off. By the way, maybe we should make a DotA thread dun sa gamer's forum??? What do you think??? I guess I'll make a post now.. |

treant is a disabler thats what i know.. the hell he should have used he's ulti so the opposing team be packed together for a nice chain frost.. haha...
oh well...
good thing it ended well.. ^_^

Yeah, It's not about hero kills.. It's about winning.. ofcourse, having fun is already included if you win.. ;D Others may call me newb because I use assasins with support items a lot.. I know it sounds awkward but an assasin alone couldn't push.. Hero kills will come on their own but being a part of a team is always what is important.. (I could still remember how the combo of rylai and bane pulverized us.. lol..) |

Others may call me newb because I use assasins with support items a lot.. I know it sounds awkward but an assasin alone couldn't push.. Yeah... it's okay if your assassin supports the team... cuz after all, if nobody in the team would by the mek, who would? Right? It really depends on how well you play a certain character using this certain build. It's not really helpfull if you follow someone who'll tell you "Engot ka, dapat Divine Rapier kay Morty para four digits yung coup de grace" without buying an aegis of immortal first. It really depends on the player so there really is no build better than this or that... gets gets... Pero I really admire the W-T-F-Rikimaru-With-Green-Glow-Ring-Ni-Morris. I was shocked when I saw it but I guess it works for you. Don't see anything wrong about it... Besides Ghosty, I don't think ur noobish in any way because no noob would fight as valiantly as you did with that Balanaar... he did manage to rax us single handedly. Hangat buhay pa ang Ancient, may pagasa! ;D |

But for winning, you need a hero killer, a pusher, a support, and a farmer.. everyone playing an important role.. |
