For someone who lives in a province-like place, there are some pros and cons.. Well, living here already waste 3plus hours of my time just going to school and back home.. Not to mention the exhausting travel.. meaning, no time for extra stuffs.. No Sports.. Volleyball, Basketball, etc.. No HipHop dancing, B-Boying and stuff.. No late night party, etc.. You always have to keep up with time because you don't wanna miss the last bus home.. 11PM and above.. you're screwed.. Lastly, you miss alot of opportunities.. I mean, Events, Work, etc.. Things I like being here.. well, absolutely fresh air.. I just open the window of my room and feel the breeze at night.. (If you don't get it, well.. our house is surrounded by fields..and neighbor houses are too far..) Another, well.. No flood, No water shortage.. and Peace.. (as in you can walk at night without thinking if there is someone stalking you or anything..) And lastly, Province "Kapitbahays" are very nice and helpful.. ;D Given the chance, I'd live in the city, but for now.. I'm contended living here..

Yeah... in the city it's always the mainstream. Kaya nga it really pays not to be mainstream. With regards to trends... here... either hiphop ka or rocker ka.... yay!!!
Sa province no one really gives a heck.... which is good...
Hay... I still say it's best to have your own sense of fashion (or kawirduhan sa pananamit at sa overall taste) all in all.
Hmm... byahe nga lang sa tagaytay ngarag na ako... what more pa yung iba na sa Mindoro or sa Cebu or some other oblivious place in the Philippines?
Sabi sa akin ni Charlene sanay na rin naman sya sa byahe everyday from Antipolo to AMA QC... and vice versa... pero still others choose to board. Well we can't exactly commute everyday from Jolo to QC, can we?

never tried living for long in the province though.. like 2-3weeks on vacation lang... and relatives in cebu know me and sometimes i forget or dont know their names.. kewl huh.. ^_^
the beauty is though you wont be worried bout city criminals.. besides npas roaming and wild animals i think fresh air can buy up for that... ^_^
when i do live for more than a month in the province maybe i can answer this question better... currently i cant decide on that because on those 2 weeks ive been there i never left the house(playing video games - that was before college.. didnt have the time to go ever since... grrrr... tri-sem).... so my answer would be outdated...
currently im dandy fine with the city.. (^_~)*

initially if your house is standing in the city and your relatives are there too you'll probably live in the city without cash... that on the other hand can be applied to living in the province too... well that is I as-sumption(won't let me write A S S without blocking...).. if you're referring to the point that there are still wild animals nearby that can be freely eaten to the point when you don't have money.. then you're right.. living in the province can be considered... if you can eat rats then living in the city without cash and relatives nearby can also be considered... btw ill just die when the point of eating rats are the only option...

Being certified city boy (boy daw oh) that i am, I think it's really a matter of getting used to. We're used to living here but stil would consider living in the province provided (insert some condition here).
Same goes with those who live in the province...
