yeah i think a definite date would be awesome.. hmmm.. but with less people hanging around the forums.. maybe jeff would be a nice coordinator...

I would have to say.. I had fun today.. **Feb, 9 2007 **Friday Those who didn't come.. you have no idea what you guys missed.. hehe.. We did managed to win a lot of games but we did lose the most important one.. the last game.. The game that sticks in everyone's mind.. hats off to teamwork.. they really nailed us just when we thought we had it.. but I did had fun.. ;D It was one of those games that is so close, in the end.. it doesn't matter if you win or lose.. (but of coarse it feels better to win.. ;D hehe) I just can't wait when the next game is.. see you guys again.. |

These days. there are only two kinds of days: GOOD DOTA DAY, and BAD DOTA DAY.
Depending on the situation, DOTA day may become a BOTA day... as in Backdoor of the Ancients day.... perhaps if some random Balanaar or Razor attempts such, yet another random Slithice breaks the game hahahaha....

DoTA these days gets tiresome... err... like a tire.
It seems that everything seemed based on winning, winning and winning.
It's alright if you lose provided the one who beat you doesn't brag about it. But what happens if they win? You are right: THEY BRAG ABOUT IT.
Instances mentioned above has become quite numerous already that GG Client seem like a better alternative than play with airheads.
And be called a loser??? ass? DoTA can't even justify half of what you achieved in life. It won't tell if life exists outside of the map or you are tied to it like a bee who would eventually outside of its hive. SO WHO'S THE LOSER NOW?
In DoTA, a battle often gets decided right before a match even begins. We know of hero counters don't we???
Fact number one is if you lose, you won't necessarily have to be worse than ur opponent... or ur opponent is better than you. Again, we know of hero counters don't we?
Secondly, there are factors outside the game: TRASH TALKERS, LOUD MOUTHS, NOOBS, LOUD MOUTH NOOBS, TRASHTALKING LOUD MOUTH NOOBS, or combinations of the above.
And if you lose... you inevitably become the "loser".
Guess the best we can do is let these people do what they can: PLAY DOTA. And let them brag about the only thing they can brag to us about: DOTA.
Life exists outside of DoTA. There's school, career, friends(the good ones). For those who justify a person based on his skillz in this game... my I have only one thing to tell you: GET A LIFE !!!
DoTA is a great game and I love it. I'm playing high level and definitely not a noob. But I pity those who are stupid enough to get his mind and ego stuck in a Warcraft custom map.
As usuall, I have perfect understanding of what I am talking about. Need I mention names?
Some of them.. hindi ko kilala dahil marami namang mga taong hindi ko kilala na come and go lang sa shop. Wag nalang... pwede nyo naman akong lapitan at tanungin kung isa ba kayo sa mga taong tinutukoy ko. And I DON'T CARE WHO EVER READS THIS! Anyway, the only reason for anyone to get offended by my words is if he is a bragging, egoistic, airheaded DoTA freak who doesn't have a life.
Some people are just not worth it. So just let them do what they do best: play DOTA. Kasi naman kung matatalo pa sila dyan eh wala na silang maipagyayabang.
What if kaibigan mo.. naku problema yan... just let them go. I for one am tired of trying to pull someone up so he/she would improve him/herself. It's tiresome cuz I get to look like the self righteous fool anyway. Do what I do: DON'T BOTHER WITH THESE FOLKS.

what can I say.. It sounds like the marvin we all know.. lol.. (btw, the BOTA day was really funny.. lol ;D) ..but seriously, you have a point.. like what you always tell us.. it's so unproductive.. living a life on a map of 6.something.. lol.. sleeping, eating, speaking DOTA.. items, strats, etc.. anyway, It doesn't necessarily mean that I would stop playing it.. why? It's only a game.. and it is there to be a form of leisure,, but not a life.. honestly, I play not just for winning.. It doesn't matter If I don't win much in a "DOTA day".. lol.. but more of the friendship that I spend with people I play with.. We all know that classes for most of us is over.. but we still go to school.. we still play around.. and in my opinion (this does not pertain to everyone) We play DOTA because we want to share our time with our friends.. well atleast, it's a reason enough for me.. because after this few weeks.. who knows if I'll get to see anyone of you again.. maybe once, twice or maybe never.. When I work.. I work hard.. and when I play around.. I make sure I have fun and enjoy every single moment of it.. right now, the play around days are almost over.. ..see you guys around this monday. Goodluck to all that will be defending the Ancients.. ehem.. lol.. I mean defending their thesis.. hehe.. probably the last DOTA day.. see ya'.. |

We play DOTA because we want to share our time with our friends.. well atleast, it's a reason enough for me.. because after this few weeks.. who knows if I'll get to see anyone of you again.. maybe once, twice or maybe never.. it's really sad but true that the "fooling around" is over. Seriously... it's really sad....  .............................  I've spent so much time dealing with loops, increments, arrays, brackets, godd@m variables with horrible naming conventions (lalu na pag gawa ng iba), strings and all the f****** godd@mn syntax you have to be proficient at in order to be recognized the arguably fu***** best programmer of the f***** batch. I never thought fooling around (going to school to play and not to study) feels oh so fu***** nice... being top DL (not Dean's Lister but DoTA lister) being so prestigeous. So living life to the "foolest" taste oh so freaking good.... well I do admit I didn't delve much with the theories and all the other written stuff our course required.... but I still lost a lot of time with the academics... I forgot someone at the time (mga two years ago) was insisting I play DoTA....eh mga panahon pa ni Guinsoo yun  And like Ghosty, I play so I could spend more time with the friends which I doubt I'd stil get to see often after perhaps a month from now.  Kaya half of the reason why I collect all the replays (even the sucky and lost ones) is for its sentimental value. Well... we are living the techie age so we might as well use it for cheesy stuff...  obviously the other half of the reason is for my guide... which would prolly only use 4 or 5 of the best replays I have... ;D Hmmm.... DoTA days is defintely one of the highlights of my college life and so everytime I play/dream of DoTA I would definitely see ur faces (ung cute face ni papa Morris, ung astig m*nst*r face ni Cary, ung annoying face ni Keen (eto nightmare), ung walang brief na ***** ni Nick, ung expert face ni Kuya Gian na forte virtually lahat ng character na hawakan)....  F*** IT THAT IS WHY NOBODY SHOULD BRAG ABOUT WINNING A GAME GODD*MMIT! Hehehehe.... Anyways, back to the topic.... I really like the new Blood Stone item... but I think the nerfing on the Aegis sucks... what do you guys think about this??? |
